Assault on Caramulo

Vista do tasco de Malhapão de Cima, sem neve

View from the tavern Malhapão Angle, no snow

Tomorrow is the day of battle!
The goal: to climb to Caramulinho bike . I've done but this initiative has different contours.
My goal: to ride with snow! : D
The plan: several groups of mountain biking join his troops at the foot of Caramulo and from various points rise up to meet at the top.
The enemy is armed with: rain, snow, cold, hills, herds of cattle and other surprises.

My arms:

  • Pants ... forget the shorts there, maybe with tights underneath.
  • Jersey-based breathable Windstopper Jacket + Rain Cover + .. I hope it will arrive but also a polar!
  • Socks + anything + impermeable thick socks (tip withdrawn from the forum BTT ) or go buy winter socks seriously like the Assos
  • Gloves ... my Gore Windstopper are not waterproof and are very thin, to see if I'm not going badly. Anyway take the backpack or dry gloves that are a few summer or normal use.
  • Protection for the ears ... still do not have this part.
  • Food and water!
  • Clothing replacement in the backpack: socks!
  • Money for the strengthening of the tavern Malhapão Angle :)
  • Tomorrow at 7 am with the troops pull out of Vila Nova de Monsarros. It will not hurt anything.

Usaralho large again at large. This time the Caramulo did not retaliate with snow to the satisfaction of your desire! ... Rain, rain and rain some more ... to join with the wind that was more than we can consider that a challenge has been met.
